Rebalance your body and rejuvenate your life!
This work helps to rebalance the muscles of the body, support healthy joint range of motion and improve strength. For many of us, we may also have emotional stress that underlies some of our physical stress. I teach techniques that help to process emotions that arise during a session (or during exercises) in a productive way as needed. Drawing on my training in motor development, yoga, body-breath integration, Chinese medicine theory, Reiki and guided meditation, I guide my clients through exercises that help to maintain or restore normal function and balance in the body.
Do you like being pampered and supported in gentle loving kindness? I guide my clients through gentle restorative stretches allowing you to relax while improving your flexibility. During the session, I will also teach you simple techniques you can do at home that are easily integrated into your day.
Do you want to improve your ability to absorb information or an experience before you react? There is an interplay between our physical tension and emotional tension or reactions. When we restore our flexibility and strength physically, it improves our emotional flexibility, including our self-awareness, self-confidence and self-love. The reverse is also true. Over time we can convert our unhelpful cycles of rigidity and reactivity into spaciousness, self caring, conscious choice and expression.
